After School
The City of Stockton Stockton Community Services Department and Lodi Unified and Stockton Unified School Districts work together to provide free after school programs funded by a grant through the California Department of Education.
Each school has an established program capacity, based on the facility space provided by the school, so early registration is important. Registration is accepted at individual school sites. The programs are operated by the City of Stockton. Schools currently participating in the grant are listed below.

City Managed Programs
In addition to these grant funded programs, City of Stockton Community Services offers affordable before and after school care at John Muir Elementary. John Muir Before and After School Program registration is only accepted at the Arnold Rue Community Center (Panella Park), 5758 Lorraine Avenue.
After School Express
Stribley and Van Buskirk Community Centers offer free, drop-in after school programs administered on-site by center staff. Call the desired center for more information about the free After School Express program, or the After School Program number listed on the Contact Us page.
