Learning Fencing Camp

Use the summer break to learn the exciting sport of Olympic Fencing! In a fun, positive, creative, and safe environment learn the fencing basics, from saluting your opponent, to the moves of Olympic Champions.  In five days of workouts we focus on fitness, agility, good sportsmanship, all while having fun.  Our coaches are active athletes with national ratings and holding professional fencing coaching certificates (USFCA).  Club, Delta Fencing Center, is a club-member of the US Fencing Association.  All fencing equipment is provided.  

Come in warm-ups, sneakers and a t-shirt, and bring a water bottle.  Free fencing t-shirt to every student!  Free personalized fencing water bottle to every student signed up in May.  Instruction for this course is provided by Zoran Djurisic and will be held at the Arnold Rue Community Center.

Advanced Fencing

Use the summer break to advance your fencing skills!  In a fun, positive, creative, and safe environment improve your fencing while working alongside young National Championship athletes.  If you took our "Learning" camp, or if you are already training with us this is the perfect camp for you - in four days of workouts we focus on fitness, agility, good sportsmanship, and strategic thinking, all while having fun.  Two hours of active fencing every, with electronic scoring equipment! All fencing equipment is provided.

Come in warm-ups, sneakers and a t-shirt, and bring a water bottle.  Free fencing t-shirt to every student!  Free personalized fencing water bottle to every student signed up in May.  Instruction for this course is provided by Zoran Djurisic and will be held at the Arnold Rue Community Center.

Judo

Judo is designed for students to learn discipline, self-respect, confidence and self-defense. New students must meet with instructor before registering for Judo. Please call for a first timers appointment and to get USA Judo outfit information. This may require an extra fee. Instruction for this course is provided by Jack Ferrill and will be held at the McKinley Community Center.

Skateboarding Class

Learn basic / intermediate skills and safety tips.  Skateboard Park closed to public during class. Helmet, knee and elbow pads required (Rentals available from instructor).  Parent must register student and sign release form. Instruction for this course is provided Eric Torres and will be held at the Anderson Skateboard Park corner of Benjamin Holt Drive / El Dorado Street.

Soccer

Just4Kicks, Inc. conducts instructional soccer lessons developing skills as well as age appropriate emotional development required for the game of soccer. Each activity varies according to age and ability and is structured to provide every child the opportunity to express themselves and grow at their own rate. The emphasis is on learning and having fun, not winning.

ZUMBA

The ZUMBA program is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin, int'l music and dance movements, creating a dynamic, exciting, exhilarating, and effective fitness system.  It combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using and aerobic / fitness approach to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits which target areas such as the gluteus muscles, legs, arms, core, abdominal and the most important muscle in the body...the heart! 

Instruction for this course is provided by Susan Suarez and will be held at the Arnold Rue Community Center.
